Working on the business end of the spectrum for a while, was I. Now for those who do not know me I am a huge Texas Longhorns fan. When this guy was in college, I wanted to scream at him. Well, now I am going to be running a season long watch giving you weekly updates to let you know how he is doing. Oh so you ask who it is, well it will be on the most explosive finishers I have Ever seen, Blake Griffin. Griffin accepted a scholarship to play for the University of Oklahoma  over the University of Connecticut, Duke University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and many more top noch Division I schools. As a freshman at Oklahoma, he averaged 14.7 points and 9.1 rebounds in 28.4 minutes per game and led the Sooners to a 23–12 record. In his sophomore season,against the Davidson Wildcats, he scored 25 and grabbed 21 rebounds, after which he scored 35 points and had 21 rebounds against GardnerWebb, becoming the first player in Big 12 history to record back-to-back games of at least 20 points and 20 rebounds.Griffin averaged 22.7 points, 14.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game during the regular season and earned All-American First Team honors. He led the Big 12 in scoring and rebounds, and recorded at least 20 points and 15 rebounds 15 times, which is a Big 12 record. Soon after his sophomore season Griffin announced that he will give up his final two years of eligibility and declared for the NBA Draft. .He was selected as the first overall pick by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2009 NBA Draft. However, he injured his kneecap in their final preseason game when he landed after a dunk.The day before the 2009–10 season started it was confirmed that Griffin had a stress fracture in his left knee, delaying his NBA debut. After resting the stress fracture for several weeks, tests revealed that his knee was not recovering properly, and had surgury putting him out for the entire 2009 season witch wouldhave been his rookie year.With a great NBA body and a great leaping ability  – 37 inch vertical, you know a man like that can't be held down for too long. Well I guess we can say true to that. Through 34 games the 6-10 forward has averaged 21.7 points per and 12.5 a game in 37 minutes. Griffin had 28 points and 12 rebounds for his 18th straight double-double and now has the streak up to 20, yes, 20 straight double doubles.The guy is just pure raw and  there is no other way to put it. But i dont want to hurt my self over the first week I'm with him so I will have to save a little bit here.For the rest of the week the Clippers will play the Nuggets, the Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat on the 12th.
